Scripps Networks Interactive, one of the world’s leading producers of engaging lifestyle content, today announced the launch of top-rated global food and lifestyle channel Food Network in Hong Kong on now TV, and in Indonesia on Indovision, OkeVision and Play Media. The channel is also slated to launch on MOD in Taiwan soon.

Derek Chang, Managing Director of Scripps Networks Interactive, Asia-Pacific said, “Scripps Networks’ channels are the gold standard in lifestyle content, and Food Network is the must-have destination for food lovers across the region. Since our initial launch in Asia five years ago, Food Network continues to drive record ratings and creates a value proposition to our key partners. We are very excited to keep the momentum going by extending distribution of the channel in Hong Kong, Indonesia and Taiwan. I’d like to thank our partners for their continued support and commitment to bringing our high quality content into Asian homes.”

With a growing demand for food and lifestyle entertainment in Asia, Food Network will premiere with a mix of global programming featuring kitchen competitions, culinary adventures, instructional cooking and home entertaining. Viewers can look forward to a robust line up of top-rated programs such as Chopped, Guys Big Bite and The Kitchen.
