Brand New Media Names Content Head In Singapore
SINGAPORE – Hot on the trail of the new executive appointments at Brand New Media is Shailja Varghese, the newly appointed Head of Content Solutions.
As the global content marketing agency expands throughout Southeast Asia, Shailja’s responsibilities will include overseeing the content marketing solutions arm of the BNM business regional headquarters in Singapore. She will be working alongside the Managing Director of BNM Singapore, Joanne de Rozario and Global Director, Damien Bray.
With 17 years of experience in the media and television industries, Shailja is no stranger to the world of content. In her most recent role, she was the Regional Director – Content for South East Asia and South Asia with Maxusglobal where she obtained year-on-year growth on revenue for Maxus South Asia, won several awards and pioneered several content-led marketing campaigns for brands.
Previously, she was the National Director for Content Solutions ESP for Maxus in India, and prior to that, handled programming and acquisition for National Geographic, UTV Entertainment Television, Discovery Channel, TLC as well as Zee Entertainment. She has successfully acquired over 1000 hours of lifestyle and travel programmes, 600 movies, co-produced 500 hours of content, developed and supervised over 150 hours of original production for several television channels and developed and executed over 150 content solutions for brands.
